Lowscope (Lowscope) is a small studio based in The Netherlands. We keep data collection to a minimum and never sell your personal information. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to reach us with questions.

Website analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (which pages are popular, roughly where traffic comes from). IP addresses are anonymized, and we use this data only in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Mailing list

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address in Mailchimp so we can send you updates about new games, plugins and tutorials. We collect only your email address for this purpose. We never sell or share your email with third parties, and every email includes an unsubscribe link so you can opt out at any time.

Data in our games

Some of our games collect anonymous analytics to help us fix bugs and understand how the game is played. Depending on the platform, this may include Unity Analytics, Google Play services and itch.io analytics. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to personally identify players.

Advertising

A number of our free games show advertisements to support development. These use ad networks such as Google AdMob and Unity Ads. Where possible, we serve non-personalized ads. Ad networks may still process limited device data as described in their own privacy policies; please refer to those networks for details on their data handling.

Cookies

Our website may set cookies for analytics and basic functionality (such as remembering your theme preference). You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings; the site will still work, though some preferences may not be remembered.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. To unsubscribe from the mailing list, use the link in any newsletter email or contact us directly.
